this is the little meal i ate when i came home this afternoon all sweaty and hot after bicycling in 110? heat. first, i went to the pottery studio to unload a kiln (work), then on a mission of love to buy jesse's favorite dry food at 3pm in the hottest part of the day because jesse was crying for it and because i must be a lizard. even though i make jesse's food (all organic veggies and brown rice, and tuna), she still likes crunchy dry food. ....and sweating is healthy :)
this is the meal (from upper right clockwise): alfalfa sprouts & sunflower spouts with walnuts and a little squeeze of lemon; sliced raw zucchini (left over from making raw zucchini fettuccine strips) with tomatoes and sesame seeds; miso soup with green onions; brown rice with nutritional yeast and shoyu; chilled silken soft tofu with freshly grated ginger and shoyu.

I have the creeping crud. My throat feels like someone worked it over with sandpaper and I'm exhausted. I'm on meds and doing very little. I had no energy to cook so these little babies got me through the day pretty much. My hubby got the kids stuff they could fix themselves or I could fix with minimal effort for the next couple of days. Shakes aren't the ideal meal, but this one does have protein, fat and fiber with minimal carbs, so still healthier than snackin' on crackers. Maybe tomorrow I'll feel better. I need to, I have a creative shot I need to do fo a contest I'm entering. I'll tell you all more about it tomorrow providing I'm not worse.

Robb Dunfield COLOUR WHEELS ARTIST
When you meet Robb Dunfield for the first time, you might not guess that this adoring husband and father of two lovely daughters is also an inspiring public speaker, not to mention one of the country’s most accomplished artists. A ventilator-dependent quadriplegic since the age of 19, Robb was initially introduced to the art of mouth painting at 21. Influenced by the works of Emily Carr and Tom Thompson, Robb uses oil painting as his creative medium, which allows him to express the emotions and creativity he feels, permanently, on canvass. Today, his artwork graces wine labels and has been shown in galleries across Canada. He has collaborated on a best-selling book, "If Sarah Will Take Me", and his most recent accomplishment - a stunning 6 X 8 foot oil painting of his two daughters showcased at the Blusson Spinal Cord Centre in Vancouver BC - is now the world’s largest painting created by a mouth painter.
Oil Paint Color Wheel
Messing with oil paints again after stopping for more than 4 years already. I took out those paints and reorganized them into plastic tubs I bought lately from Ikea. Nifty!! I bought some paints from an art supply when they were having a sale too. So these are the colors I have so far... I guess they are good enough.
